Operating the lights is partially automated, but it is possible to intervene or switch to manual operation at any time and at any location with the help of ten conventional wall panels with dials and buttons and a clear floor plan.
Buttons operate the lights in various areas of the building. The floor plan features LEDs to indicate where the lights have been switched on.
Any malfunctions in the systems are also clearly reported.
The front looks like aluminium, but it is actually made of a sandwich material with a nylon core. It is extremely durable and still very light.
